"April Showers Bring May Flowers"

Children Workshop

Friday, May 26, 2023

5:00-600pm

2nd - 4th graders

This session will include the making of an Origami Flower. There will be a review of mathematical shapes revealed in this art of paper folding. May is also the month for honoring Asians, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. As such, children will learn to identify on maps and globes where the land or countries of origin are found and the types of flowers and their use in these cultures. In addition, Dr. E.J. will read one of the books she wrote about growing up in South Korea.
